Great Doors – A Balance of Comfort and ValueDuring my recent visit to Great Doors in Thamel, I found the experience refreshingly practical. The location is ideal for sightseeing, with attractions just a short walk away. The spacious room was equipped with AC and offered basic comforts, including free toiletries and clean linens. What impressed me was the attentive staff who genuinely cared for our needs, especially when my family was under the weather. While the breakfast menu was decent, featuring items like chilly momo, I appreciated the option for a shared kitchen as well. Although there are pricier hotels that offer more luxury, Great Doors provides a solid value for money without compromising on comfort. If financial wisdom is a factor for your stay, this hotel strikes a balance worth considering. For a quick city break, it’s a cozy home base. I would choose it again if I’m back in Kathmandu.
